heat wave.....
so I made the most of the day in a productive fashion.
44 degrees celsius outdoors, inside the fan was on all day long. Ice blocks in glasses of water ,and the sewing machine at hand, I attempted my first shirred waistline on cloth purchased at the Fabric Store in Brunswick. I had seen similar very expensive versions made of silk, and instead used this lovely cotton sateen.
An easy wear, comfortable addition to my summer wardrobe.
