Breadmaking this morning

owing to the wild windy weather...

which stalled our plans for a walk in the hills, I baked a sweet treat instead for sunday
 - carrot cake muffins .

I also tinkered around, and made a hanging herb rack.

Using a vine from the garden, with little sticks tucked in betweeen the vines as hooks.

Then I went to the garden and picked a few bundles of thyme, lavender, oregano and sage to finish.

 this afternoon....

soya and almond milk hot chocolate....

and a loaf of freshly baked wholemeal bread.

next up, sour dough.
