 chocolate cake, tea, funny greetings cards and beautiful flowers on my birthday, followed by a lovely sunset. A fine birthday.

another cold day

 The days grow shorter as the midwinter solstice draws closer. Managed to nearly finish my cotton, recycled tablecloth skirt this afternoon before the natural daylight faded. All that remains to be done are the inside waist band, insertion of elastic and hem.
