Mothers Day

A new member to the plant family - Tradescantia Nanouk. 

I found an old, dirty basket on the side of the road on one of our daily walks. Cleaned and renewed, it becomes decorative storage. I love saving things from landfill, especially if they're rustic, natural and useful.

 Art is slowly growing over the walls as I progress with my degree.

Woke up to a chilly morning as a polar blast sweeps through Victoria. 'Tis one of the reasons I like living in the southern part of Australia. The weather is interesting, varied and we're fortunate enough to experience both hot and cold weather. The fact that Maroondah ranks as one of the coldest areas in Melbourne is especially intriguing.
