37 C top for Melbourne today so confined indoors most of the time. 

The fan is buzzing away near me, as I type. 

My hand made patchwork curtains, that I recently dyed Peaceful Green,  are living up to their namesake colour on this quiet, but hot day.

 Tis the season for picking raspberries, boysenberries and strawberries from the garden. They make the

 perfect topping for a Vegan Cashew Cheesecake. On a hot 36 degree day this chilled cake was most

 welcome. 

Progressing from small juveniles just two years ago, into 3 metre high paperbark trees, the two 

 Melaleuca Linariifolia species in our backyard. are now flowering profusely.
