In creative mode today. Packaging from delivery boxes can be quite useful.
Even the small details in fancy chocolate wrappings can be become special when collected on a theme.

Oxalis looking brilliant today. Although a nuisance of a weed , they can be appreciated for their masses of color and the flowers are beneficial to the bees.

Freesias are doing well this year. The little corner of the garden where they grow is so fragrant , I feel it's almost wrong to remove but  always aware to leave some for the bees to enjoy. Combined with the bluebells, the posy is a delight to the senses.

September , and its still lockdown. But amid all the turbulence, some things remain constant. Nature grounds us and sees us through.

Sunsets are brilliant and awe inspiring.

Flowers relish the warmth of the morning sun.....

In the grasses  hide a myriad of creatures getting on with the business of life.

This morning I collected some lavender while their fragrance is still at its most potent. Some are drying for the purpose of filling sachets, while the rest are steeping in a jar of vinegar. This brew is destined to turn a pretty purple color, after which it will be diluted and used for cleaning.

An unassuming air vent over the house roof looks unintentionally regal....

vegetable patch thriving....

...and a rooftop that transports my mind away from suburbia, to some remote and rugged mountain range
far, far away.

First day of spring, and an apt one at that.
Lovely warm weather blue skies puts a 'spring' in the step.
