Pottering about in the garden today.
Tidied up the garden beds and adjusted the bee hotel to a different position,
whilst also adding a little rooftop.

The yarrow that I transferred from the lawn to the garden bed is very happy
and thriving in its new location. An interesting scent when crushed,
the leaves remind me a little of dill.

Monsieur Anouk has the right idea on this hot day.

Anticipating the flowering of the cafe au lait dahlia .

Spring days.

Gave the outdoor weedy tree a prune to create an outdoor shady eating area. A nuisance tree, but necessary as the tiny thornbills enjoy hiding in the dense foliage and the bees adore it, so much so, that the tiny white petals can be seen continually dropping on to the table top.

The front yard is coming on. I couldn't bear looking at the previous exposed and degraded soil that occupied the lawn area, and after a year the progress has been wonderful. yes, we are renting this property, but I wish to enjoy it.

Wattle tree doing well ...lots of growth recently

I brought in one of the poppies that sprung out miraculously from the garden and so admire its beauty as it sits on the living room table top. A gift from Mother Nature.

Nook Nook sleeping in The Purring Cottage. By the looks of the cottage name plate, I think he should be maintaining the property better.

Our little lady looking naturally gorgeous on the front porch.
