It's fun to explore new shopping centres......been a while since we visited north croydon , and we were pleasantly surprised with the unusual range  in the supermarket there. Thought we would try this artisan made locally sourced lavosh. I have to admit the beautiful packaging design enticed me to purchase.
Other things worth mentioning are our mock orange is flowering ..... popped a few sweetly scented sprigs into a repurposed jar where I can view it on the windowsill as I wash the dishes.

table scape this morning
thankful for a lovely peaceful sunny day.....
and so are the birds - as i sit here typing , i can hear the magpies happily chortling outside.
A bit of pottering about in the garden this morning saw me bring in one last fading rose to add to my posy of geraniums.

Beautiful chocolate wrappers deserve to be photographed.
Unseasonable Spring weather here in Ringwood. During recent research on BOM, I found the last  November day where it reached 40 degrees for melbourne was pre 1900.  And as I write this, I think of the irony photographing a chocolate that has been imported from Spain, while at the same time being distressed about climate change. Although our family footprint is low/ sustainable, ie- never fly, household runs on carbon neutral energy, organic vegan diet, diy enthusiasts, rarely buy anything new or imported, spent the majority of our life so far car - free, I still constantly think about these things and think - are we not involved somehow? I also think it unrealistic to deny ourselves a treat every now and then.

Calistemon species looking beautiful in the garden today.
I really like how the delicate stamens are all parceled up neatly, just before they are  about to burst into vibrance.

More vegan croissant baking .  Such a treat!

The prettiest bottles this morning at 8 am.
Warm day - have been transplanting all the little tree suckers that are coming up in places where they won't thrive, and transplanting them to spots in the garden where they have a fighting chance to grow. Because humanity continues to pollute , the earth cries....'more trees please'.
