In awe of a fine chocolate wrapper design - small pleasures

After meeting again, after months of separation , the kangaroos with their new youngsters ( some safe and snug in mum's pouch ) during our walk at Warrandyte yesterday we headed to the IGA store to stock up on vegan food and organic fresh veg. It was the second time I have ventured into a supermarket within the last four months and still I find it strange, as I am still getting used to the supermarket environment after all these months of trying to avoid public places. What I did find was another wonderful chocolate block by the afore mentioned maker of fine chocolate.

Just photographed in appreciation of the artwork on the wrappers.

The beautiful, fragrant Abraham Darby Rose by David Austin.

Because who needs thousands of dust collecting knick knacks when outside there are these natural fragrant beauties waiting to be admired. Adorned in the finest of ruffles, just one placed in a simple glass bottle brings such delight.

Calendula  and borage flowers.

Morning dew on rhubarb leaves and borage flowers sprinkled in moisture.

Lockdown, and all was quiet and peaceful when normally the tell tales signs of  busy lives can be heard.  The fam were still slumbering in their beds so it was just me and my camera  this morning at 10am.

The skies are clean and fresh looking these days, devoid of aircraft and city generated smog. The plants in the garden are flourishing this year, more so than ever and I have a suspicion they are thriving due to the cleaner air.

Glorious sunny day today. Not too hot, just a pleasant nurturing temperature.
View of lilacs through the dining room window and the conservatory corner in 4pm light.
