A cosy candle lit night as the rain softly falls outside. Tried taking some photos this evening, but was soon interrupted by the inquisitive Cosette. A full removal of all the candles ensued before pulling her out of a potential accident. 

The fireplace, which we cant use, was open to the elements when we moved in, so I successfully stopped all draughts from entering by pushing layers of cardboard up into the open space. As a renter, I shouldn't have to attend to such issues, but waiting for action from the real estate agent/landlord is out of the question at this time of the year.
